I'm a 35 year old single woman, part-time teacher, occasional writer, and currently on a 90 stint at a national computer retailer before I am officially laid off. I am a member of my local UU church. I enjoy singing, though I can't participate in the church choir these days due to schedule conflicts. Politically speaking, I am screamingly liberal on social issues and moderate on financial ones.

I was recently diagnosed with ADD, which explains so very, very much about the problems I ran into in school as a kid and the challenges I've faced as an adult. Along with my IT job, I work 15 hours a week at a very small private school as a science teacher. I hesitate to call it work, because it is so wonderful. I'm also credentialed to teach Gifted/Talented, Health, Art, English, and Social Studies.

I write. I cruise the web. I don't post on message boards nearly as much as I used to. I type over 100 words per minute. I know how to knit, and I'm learning how to sew. If I ever have the time again, I'd really like to start taking random college courses. I've written two books and a whole slew of short stories. I'm trying to get something, anything published. I
